After raising a family, semi-retirement and family health issues, art has become my best friend. It has become an expression of joy, grief, entertainment, productivity, and spiritual awareness. God continues to inspire all of us through His creativity in many ways. Looking at a leaf and painting it, you began to study its design, confirming and discovering again our Creator.

Working in oil is my preferred medium.  Painting in oil has given me freedom of expression because of its forgiving qualities. Currently painting in watercolor, is also most enjoyable. Searching for an art group in 2008, I found “Artist Alive and Well.” It was in the first show entered at the Three Allen Center downtown that two pieces were sold. I have found that “icing on the cake” is when your work touches someone else in any way at all.
