I have always been fascinated with architecture and ruins from ancient civilization.  Arches especially, remind me of the paradox between the spiritual realm and earthly dimensions. I make use of them as symbols for the gateways between life and death. Lights and darks, layers of translucent color and textures presented with heart felt emotional expression echo life’s journey with its many changes symbolizing the transition of the inner soul.
